The Snapshot app is available to Progressivecustomers in select states who were offered and enrolled in themobile version of Snapshot (not the plug-in device) when theypurchased their policy.Here's how it works: the app uses the technology on your phone tohelp you tailor your driving. It measures your driving data, likehard braking and mileage, and gives you personalized tips on how toimprove. All you have to do is keep your phone with you as youdrive – the app runs in the background, so you can just set it andforget it.

The Snapshot app is available to everyone, even if you’re notaProgressive policyholder. For policyholders: People who’vealreadypurchased a Progressive insurance policy and enrolled inSnapshotwith the mobile app (not the plug-in device) can use it tocompletetheir Snapshot driving period. Available in select states.Foreveryone else: People who are not current Progressive customerscanuse the Snapshot app to participate in Snapshot Road Test.
